Client financial account data (Plaid)

Some client engagements include connecting the client's business bank accounts to our service through Plaid Inc., so we can import transactions into the client's own accounting system for bank reconciliation and financial reporting. This happens only with the client's written authorization. The data we receive is read-only transaction data: dates, amounts, descriptions, and basic account details (account name, type, masked number). We never see or store your banking credentials — those are entered directly with Plaid and your bank — and we hold no ability to move money, make payments, or change anything at your bank.

This data is used solely to deliver the engaged services. It is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS 1.2+), stored on encrypted, access-controlled equipment in the United States, isolated per client, and never sold, licensed, or shared beyond what the engagement requires. Clients can revoke access at any time — through their bank, through Plaid Portal (my.plaid.com), or by telling us — and on revocation or at the end of an engagement we delete the connection and stored data per our retention policy (engagement plus 90 days unless instructed otherwise in writing) and confirm in writing. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Site and our business, such as hosting, email, scheduling, and analytics providers, under obligations of confidentiality.
• Authorities or other parties when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
